T.PI.M.
was started in June of 2009. The ministry is a spin off of Unique
Praise Dance Ministry. Unique Praise was a family dance ministry that
was started in 2000 by Minister Tracey Weathers, Director of T.P.I.M..
Minister Weathers dedicated her life to Christ in 1999 and dance was
her form of worship. She says that she taught her children to gyrate
and bump and grind while she was in the world and prayed to God for a
way to undo that teaching. She began dancing at her home to gospel
music and invited her children to join her. Minster Weathers, her
daughter Jacoda, her son Jason and her sister in Christ, Carrie Pollard
began choreographing dance routines and Unique Praise was born. The
group has ministered at churches and events all over the county of Los
Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. In 2003 the group came up under
the pastor ship of Ronald Smith,
True Workers of the Holy Trinity House of Prayer and Worship
and
continued the ministry. In June of 2009, under the directorship of
Minister Weathers, the group grew and the name was changed to True
Praise in Motion. T.P.I.M. is a group of young men and women dedicated
to ministering to the people of God through the Arts.
